Wellingborough Old Grammarians Association

Wellingborough Old Grammarians' Association was born in 1934 and has now grown into a flourishing Sports and Social Club with over 2,000 members. Membership is open to all, whether your interests are sporting or purely social.

Our Headquarters in Oxford Street offers a fine range of real ales and affordable meals. The building has a large bar, function room and dedicated sports bar. The function room is available for hire for private functions at reasonable rates. We also offer outside Catering services, download our buffet menu or contact us for more information.

Our Memorial Sports Field has extensive facilities including pitches for Football, Rugby and Cricket, together with Tennis courts and floodlit training areas. The Clubhouse, completed in 2003, has a large bar area and function rooms, again available for private hire. Please see our brochure or contact us for more information.

Our aim is to promote the participation of young players in all sports and to encourage their progression into senior sections. The youth programmes are developed in conjunction with Sport England, together with local authorities and schools.
